Home / About TIP

Our Goal at TIP is to replant 82,000 tress which will counteract an entire year of deforestation caused by wood pencil production.

Like most, we recognize the damage we are doing to our planet and wanted to find a way we could make a difference. We wanted to find a way to not only stop the damage, but also reverse it. That is why we created The Infinity Pencil. If we can build all electric vehicles and power our houses from the sun, why are we still cutting down trees to make pencils? Buy a TIP and help us stop more needless deforestation and replant the world’s forest.

TIP is a small business that is 100% American owned and located in Tennessee. If you have any questions please reach out to us through the Contact Us page.

RECYCLE

Our pencils are made out of materials that do not require trees to be cut down for production.  Please do not throw The Infinity Pencil in the garbage.  We want to make sure each and every TIP is recycled and reused.  Please see below for recycling procedures for each TIP pencil.

The Infinity Pencil

The original Infinity Pencil is made of a steel barrel.  Steel is infinitely recyclable without any loss in quality.  We want to make sure that each TIP, whenever it is no longer needed, ends up being recycled and reused.  There are several ways to make sure this happens:

1.  Check with your local recycling plant and make sure they accept steel and put it into your normal recycling bin.
2.  Find a local scrap yard that recycles and accepts steel.
3.  Contact TIP through our Contact Us Page and we will send you a prepaid label to send it back to us and we will make sure it is recycled properly!

TIP for Kids

TIP for Kids is made of ABS plastic and we are currently working on production for a more Eco-friendly material to use for this pencil.  We see it as essential that none of our pencils end up in the dump or anywhere else but recycled.  ABS plastic is reusable and recyclable but may not be available through your local recycling program.  To ensure your TIP for Kids is recycled please follow these instructions:

1.  Contact TIP through our Contact Us Page and we will send you a prepaid label to send it back to us and we will make sure it is recycled properly!
